DVD rental history – September 2008
Tais toi – a French comedy is more than welcome every once in a while. Gerard Depardieu and Jean Reno.
The Thin Blue Line – did you know that Mr. Bean can actually speak? Rowan Atkinson stars in this BBC produced series.
Grumpy Old Men – Jack Lemmon and Walter Mathau comedy.
Beyond The Clouds – THE MOVIE OF THE MONTH. Art cinema, the last movie in the life of Italian director Michelangelo Antonioni. It is a great introduction (assorted with a soundtrack starring rockstars of the 90s) to mainstream North Americans who never cared about cinema as an art. Then, hopefully, they will check the mindblowing movies he did over 35 years: BLOW UP, ZABRISKIE POINT, THE ECLIPSE, THE RED DESERT etc.
Drillbit Taylor – I liked Owen Wilson way before I found out that he had co-wrote Rushmore.
The Bucket List - it’s a Hollywood story, but Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman save it. My wife shared a tear, I felt the need to call my aging parents right away and tell them that I love them.

era să adorm la the bucket list. lăsând la o parte cei doi moşi care-s mişto şi când se spală pe dinţi, acţiunea e un soi de tânăr şi neliniştit: lungă, diluată şi previzibilă.
